Assertiveness and its relation to social anxiety in a sample of blind adolescents

Abstract

Abstract:- The study aimed to uncover the relationship between self-assertion and social anxiety in a sample of blind adolescents, as well as differences between males and females in self-assertion and social anxiety. The descriptive descriptive approach and the descriptive descriptive approach were used. The study sample consisted of (51) adolescent blind students( 26 students, 25 students) from Al-Noor School for the Blind, University of the Arab States and Dokki Department of the same level of socio-economic culture, and applied a measure of social anxiety for blind adolescents. Prepared by Ihab El-Beblawy (2002),And self-assertion measure for blind adolescents Prepared by: researcher, The results showed a statistically significant negative correlation between self-assertion and social anxiety, and showed no differences between males and females in both self-assertion and social anxiety.
