The Reality of Using Electronic Platforms by Faculty Members in Teaching Islamic Sciences

Abstract

The study aimed at uncovering the reality of the use of electronic teaching platforms by faculty members in teaching the forensic sciences in terms of identifying the platforms used by faculty members, determining the degree of their employment for these platforms in the teaching of forensic sciences, and taking into account the personal characteristics of members such (teaching experience, number of training courses obtained in the field of use of e-learning platforms, academic level and age),. The study also attempted to assess the degree of actual use of these platforms, and finally to investigate the obstacles to their use that face the faculty of Islamic jurisprudence at the university. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the researcher used the descriptive method in his survey method, using the questionnaire tool. The study population consisted of all 113 members of the faculty of Islamic Sciences at the Faculty of theology, at the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud (113) In the sample method.The results of the study showed that the members of the faculty of Shari'a sciences used the most important electronic educational platforms (sometimes), and the most important of these platforms (Blackboard), and the degree of employment of these platforms (medium), where the most important aspects of employment in the use of the program of educational programs or training provided by (49%).The frequency of their use was low, and there was an agreement (neutral) between them on the obstacles that limit Their use of these platforms, the most important of which is: the lack of provision of educational techniques Laboratories for Shari'ah Sciences by the Department.
