Administrative Empowerment and Its Relationship to Participation in Decision-Making among School Female Leaders in Al-Baha Region from their Point of View

Abstract:
The study aims at detecting the degree of administrative empowerment and its relationship to participation in decision-making among school female leaders. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach (both surveying and correlating), the community of the study consisted of all public schools female leaders at  AL-Baha region that included(248) school leaders, the study was applied to the community of the study in a comprehensive inventory method. The data collection tool acted in the questionnaire consisted of (52) items divided into two axes. The first axis was the administrative empowerment level (38), the second study focused on the degree of participation of school leaders in Al-Baha region in decision-making with (14) items. The study showed the following results: The degree of administrative empowerment of the school leaders in Al-Baha region in terms of (communication, availability of information, qualification and training, delegation of powers, incentives and encouragement). The degree of participation of school leaders in Al-Baha region in decision-making was moderate, and there were no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the sample degree of administrative empowerment of the leaders of schools in Al-Baha region due to the variable (educational stage, years of experience). There were differences due to the number of training courses variable. There were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample members of School leaders in Al-Baha region  in decision-making attributed to the variable (educational stage, years of experience). There were differences due to the number of training courses variable. The results also showed a positive significant correlation between the degree of administrative empowerment of school leaders In AL-Baha region, and the degree of involvement of school leaders in decision-making.
The study recommended the need to organize training courses and workshops, including administrative empowerment, participation in decision-making, and the availability of effective communication channels between the educational department and school leaders.
