The Effectiveness of using Educational Infographic through Social Networks on the Development of some Computer Practical Skills of the Second grade Intermediate Female Students.

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of using educational info graphic through the social networks (YouTube) on the development of some computer practical skills of the intermediate second grade  female students To achieve the Study’s  objectives of the study, the method of used the quize-experimental design the experimental method. The study was applied to a sample of (51) intermediate second grade female students in the city of Makkah in the first semester of 1438-1439H. The sample was randomly distributed into two groups, one of them was  the experimental group which consisted of  (26) students who studied the use of educational infographic through communication networks, the second one is the  controlled  group consisted of  (25) students  who studied in the traditional way, which was the use of the laboratory network.
  To collect the data  from the study subjects, an observation card was constructed. It was consisted of (16) basic skills and (60) sub-skills. The researcher used  the agreement rate equation for the ' Cooper ' ,Spearman correlation coefficient, t test for independent samples, the ratio of earnings rate for Black, and square Etta, to  analyze the data.
     The study found that there was statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the post-application of the observation card as a whole for the experimental group. This indicated a positive effect of the use of educational infographic through social networks on the development of some practical skills in the computer.
     In the light of the study results , It is recommended the following: to activate  the use of educational infographic through social networks in the educational environment through providing workshops for teachers on the importance and the benefits of using educational  infographic in teaching, to hold training courses for teachers in designing the computer courses using the educational infographic. Further researcher was proposed such as Measuring the effectiveness of a proposed electronic course based on the educational infographic on the educational achievement development of the of computer skills.
