Abstract

Abstract
This study aimed to show The impact of difference in two elements of design (badges / leader boards) in E-learning environment based on Gamification in learning content of Arabic language to develop the analytical reading skills and deep learning of the fifth primary grade students. The sample of the study consist of 120 students ( boys and girls ) from Mohamed Zahran official language primary school in East Alexandria Educational Administration .
For the accomplishment of the study aim , the two researchers designed two tools , the analytical reading skills test and deep learning style scale . They adjusted the reliability and validity of search tools .Then , the experiment was applied and the statistical treatments were processed .
The results of the study showed that that there were statistically significant differences between the post-test averages for the three study groups in the analytical reading skills test. "Tukey's Method" was used to determine the direction of difference between the study groups , the results showed that there were statistically significant difference at level ( ˂ 0.05 ) between the averages degrees of the first experimental group , the second experimental group , and the control group students in favor of the two experimental groups . Also, There were statistically significant differences between the averages degrees of the first experimental group who has studied using leader boards and the second experimental group who used badges in favor of the first experimental group who used leader boards. Moreover, the one – way analysis of variance between the averages degrees of the post-test for deep learning style scale for the study groups showed that there were statistically significant differences between the post-test averages for the three study groups for deep learning style scale. The results of using the  "Tukey's Method" to know the direction of differences between the study groups in post measurement of deep learning style scale confirmed that there were  statistically significant differences at level ( ˂ 0.05 )  between the averages degrees of the first experimental group, the second experimental group , and the control group in favor of the two experimental group .Also , There were statistically significant differences between the averages degrees of the first experimental group who has studied using leader boards and the second group who used badges in favor of the first experimental group .
The study ended with some recommendations and suggestions for other similar studies on different research communities .
