Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Its Role in Achieving Cognitive Communication for students of Determination

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the importance and role of artificial intelligence applications in achieving cognitive communication for students with disabilities at Assiut University from the point of view of faculty members. To achieve the goal of the research, the descriptive approach was used, and the two research tools (the questionnaire) were applied to a sample of (315) faculty members from the colleges of (Education, Arts, Social Service, Specific Education, Law), and an (interview) was conducted with some students with disabilities from The same previous colleges; To know the reality of using artificial intelligence applications in their cognitive communication, which emphasized the weak availability and use of artificial intelligence applications and tools, and the research reached in its results the importance of using artificial intelligence applications in cognitive communication for students with disabilities in the faculties of Assiut University, The research was concluded by presenting a set of recommendations, including: spreading awareness among faculty members and students with disabilities of the importance of artificial intelligence applications in their cognitive communication process, including programs on artificial intelligence and its applications as one of the curricula in university teacher preparation programs, and providing the educational environment with the necessary devices for the use of students with disabilities. People of determination are encouraged to use these applications and make some applications suitable for people of determination available in libraries, classrooms, and laboratories.A
