Abstract

The research aims to clarify the theoretical foundations of the artificial intelligence revolution in terms of the concept, stages of development, its risks and technologies, and how to benefit from them in developing twenty-first century skills in Egyptian universities, in addition to clarifying the challenges facing Egyptian universities and their implications for twenty-first century skills in light of the artificial intelligence revolution, in addition to Identifying and classifying the twenty-first century skills that meet the requirements of the artificial intelligence revolution, then presenting a proposed vision of the role of Egyptian universities in developing twenty-first century skills in light of the techniques of the artificial intelligence revolution.
The research relied on the descriptive approach, and the research results reached the following:
1- There is a deficiency in the technological readiness on which the artificial intelligence revolution in university education depends, in addition to the weak preparation of the human resources necessary to operate this system.
2- A change in the form, content, and methods of learning twenty-first century skills in response to the requirements of the artificial intelligence revolution, and even the emergence of new skills that did not exist before, such as the skill of artificial intelligence and big data management.
