Effectiveness of Training Program Based on Williams Methodology for Develop Music Auditory Perception Skills of Shelter’s Children in Port Said Governorate

Abstract

The research aimed to identify effectiveness of a training program based on Williams methodology to develop music Auditory perception skills of  Shelter’s Children in Port Said Government , research used experimental approach with two groups , research sample consisted of (15) children  aged between 4-5 years research tools was a test of music Auditory perception skills, and a performance observation card for music Auditory perception skills. The results showed effectiveness of proposed training program  There are statistically significant differences at level of significance between average ranks of children of experimental group in pre- and post-measurements of auditory musical perception skills and their total as measured by test in favor of the measurement. The post-test and absence of statistically significant differences at significance between average ranks of scores of children of experimental group in post and follow-up measurements of musical auditory perception skills and their total as measured by test, and presence of statistically significant differences at significance between average ranks of the scores of children of experimental group. In pre- and post-measurements of auditory musical perception skills and their total as measured by note card in favor of post-measurement. There are no statistically significant differences at significance between average ranks of the scores of children of experimental group in post and follow-up measurements of auditory musical perception skills and their total as measured by a card Note research recommended the need of Williams methodology to teach music to child of shelters, gets a special care  to achieve musical educational goals.
