Role of School leader as educational supervisor resident in vocational development for female teachers in Riyadh

Abstract

Objectives: this study aims to identify the role of School leader as educational supervisor resident in vocational development for female teachers in Riyadh according to their point of view، and exploring the statistical differences for the role of School leader as educational supervisor resident in vocational development for female teachers in Riyadh according to their point of view regarding to the following variables(scientific qualification، experience، and training courses). In the same side، the study aims to determine the most known experiments of developed countries in the field of vocational development for female teachers through resident supervisor. Methodology: Analytic and descriptive methodology Tool: The study depended on a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data.Sample: The sample were chosen randomly after filling the electronic questionnaire by direct communication with the school applying the project of school leader who is resident supervisor، while representative teachers for sample are 142 teachers. Results: 1. Results showed that the role of School leader as educational supervisor resident in vocational development for female teachers in Riyadh according to their point of view are in high degree or agree، but teachers responses for dimensions of vocational development has agree degree on the averages values. Recommendations:  Including the school leader as educational resident supervisor in the plan of operational balance for making vocational development for teachers.  Increasing the interest of school leader as educational resident supervisor who organize exchangeable visits between teachers inside and outside schools.  Caring of providing incentives for teachers who have vocational development programs
