Abstract
 
The Study Brief: This study aimed to study type of the relation between Emotional Intelligence and Problem Solving For a sample of mentally retarded children. It consisted of (40) children educable mentally retarded , age  (8-12) years . The Tools are used : Emotional Intelligence Scale (prepared by Afaf Ewez 2017), Solve problems   Scale for children educable mentally retarded (prepared by the researcher), -Stanford-Beneih, Q. Scale by Luies Melaka, 1998, Social and Economic Level Scale by Mahmoud El mansi,2016, Adaption Behavior Scale by Abd Elaziz Elshakhs, 2014.the results has been explained existence relation between Emotional Intelligence and Problem Solving For mentally retarded children, also, the results  had pointed to the ability of predation with Problem Solving For mentally retarded children, through Emotional Intelligence, there is no different between the total degree of Emotional Intelligence due to sex, and there is no different between the total degree of Problem Solving between male and female.
