The development of private higher institutes in the Arab Republic of Egypt in light of the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation from the viewpoint of faculty members

Abstract

Abstract
The study aimed to develop private higher institutes in the Arab Republic of Egypt in light of the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation from the point of view of faculty members by studying the most important quality systems used in higher education institutions in some foreign and Arab countries, and studying accreditation standards for higher education institutions in Egypt, and the study used the descriptive approach for its relevance to the subject of the study in collecting data on methods of applying quality standards in higher education institutions, and the study tool (questionnaire) was designed and applied to a sample of faculty members in some higher institutes of some Egyptian governorates (Western Cairo, Qalyubia). The sample reached 177 faculty members, and after analyzing the statistical data, the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: The responses of the study sample came from faculty members about the reality of applying quality standards in private higher institutes in Egypt with a degree of approval of 2.11 to some extent, and the analysis of variance of the sample responses showed The study on study variables There are no statistically significant differences between the responses of faculty members according to the gender variable (males and females) about all On the quality standards, this refers to the agreement of the study sample of faculty members about all criteria except for the standard (faculty members and the assisting body). There are statistically significant differences between the responses of faculty members according to the leadership variable (leadership - non-leadership) about all criteria except for standard (Administrative apparatus) (financial and material resources), the existence of statistically significant differences between the responses of faculty members according to the years of experience variable (less than 5 years - from 5 to less than 10 years - more than 10 years) about all criteria except for the criterion (participation Societal and environmental development), there are no statistically significant differences between the responses of faculty members according to the job variable (professor - assistant professor - teacher) on all criteria except for standards (leadership and governance, faculty and support staff, financial and material resources), and through These results, theoretical study and previous studies have been conceptualized for a proposal to develop private higher institutes in the Arab Republic of Egypt in light of the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation from the viewpoint of faculty members.
