The role of planning in developing the performance of an adult teacher according to the skills of the twenty-first century General Administration of Education in Riyadh

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of planning in developing the performance of an adult teacher according to the skills of the twenty-first century.  To achieve the goal of the study, the survey descriptive approach was followed, and the study sample, which was chosen using the simple random sample method, was formed. The questionnaire was used as a study tool distributed to (390) adult teachers.   The results of the study found that planning to develop the performance of the adult teacher in accordance with the skills of the twenty-first century has a role in improving their teaching performance, and in the light of those results a set of recommendations was presented, the most prominent of which were: the necessity of planning training programs for the adult teacher to train teaching design skills and how to plan the educational process; The necessity of enrolling the adult teacher into training courses of scientific research, the necessity of planning to establish centers for designing and producing educational programs and materials for adult education in line with the challenges of the digital transformation and its reflections on education.
