Abstract

The research aimed to measure the efficiency of a Program in family education based on the social renewal approach to develop some skills of caring for the elderly and The attitude towards them in secondary school students through summer activities , To achieve this, a set of basic skills for the care of the elderly which can be developed through the content of family education has been identified , then a programbased on the social renewal approachand covering the areas of care of the elderly related to the fields of family educationhas been established and applied to a group of secondary school students during the summer activity program. The research found the effectiveness of the proposed program in development of both the skills of caring for the elderly and the attitude towards them in the secondary school students
