Developing the administrative performance of leaders at the Faculty of Education, Mansoura University in the light of organizational agility approach

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the requirements for developing administrative performance at the Faculty of Education, Mansoura University, in the light of organizational agility approach from the viewpoint of faculty members and to present a proposed vision to activate the administrative performance of leaders in the Faculty of Education (Dean, Faculty Vice Dean, Department Heads)The descriptive approach was used, and the research sample consisted of (72)faculty members at the Faculty of Education, Mansoura University. A questionnaire was applied to collect information. The study found that the Faculty members' evaluation of the Faculty Dean’s performance came with an average score for most phrases and their evaluation of the Faculty Vice Dean came with an average degree for all phrases, and the Faculty members agreed on an average degree with the reality of the administrative performance of the Department Head .The Faculty members also agreed to the obstacles of administrative development with very large degrees for some phrases, and with a large and medium degree for others Likewise, the Faculty members agreed to the requirements of developing administrative performance in the Faculty of Education in the light of organizational agility approach in very large degrees for some phrases and in a large and medium degree for others. In light of this, a proposed vision was presented to develop the administrative performance of leaders at the Faculty of Education in the light of organizational agility approach.
