Abstract

The study aimed to uncover the effectiveness of a program to develop love and belongingAs a means of reducing violence among middle school studentsSlum dwellers,For this purpose, the sample of the study consisted of a group of students in the preparatory stageIn the modern preparatory school in Kafr El Sheikh, And the number of (40) students,Their age ranges from (14 - 15) yearsWith an average age of (174,2) months, And the average social and cultural level, This sample was selected from a randomized intentional sample, (50) students, They were divided into two groups as follows: Experimental group (n = 20) students(In addition to their daily lessons)Control group (n = 20) students(They did not receive the program but only their daily lessons).   The study used the following tools: (A measure of love for middle school students. Preparation / Researcher, A measure of belonging to middle school students. Preparation / Researcher,School violence scale for middle school students. Preparation / Researcher, Level Form(Social / cultural) . Preparation / Researcher,The training program for the development of love and belongingIn a sample of middle school students . Preparation / Researcher,The results of the study resulted in: - There is an inverse correlation relationshipBetween the development of love and belonging, and violence among pupils in the preparatory stageSlum dwellers. - There were significant differences at (0.05)On the above measures of studyFor the experimental group. - Demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the training programIn the development of love and belongingOf pupils in the preparatory stage Slum dwellers, As the study results showedContinuity of the training programAfter the follow-up period.
