Attitudes of employees at Mutah University towards the factors that lead to the delay in the marriage age in Jordanian society

Abstract
 The study aimed to identify the spinsterhood and rising age of marriage in the Jordanian society. To achieve the study objectives of the study on the social survey methodology and the use of the questionnaire as a tool head of the data collection adoptedThe study population consisted of (160) respondents, The study found a range of results, highlighted by: 1.The existence of positive trends towards higher age of marriage and spinsterhood. 2. The existence of a relationship between the role of spinsterhood in Jordanian society and (age, educational level, income level, number of times married) from the viewpoint of the employees mutah University. The study by the results to a number of recommendations including: call social institutions to implement programs of economic and social policies to reduce the negative effects of the phenomenon of spinsterhood and delayed age of marriage.
