The Role of the School Administration in Reducing the Dropping-out Levels among the General Secondary Stage Students in Kuwait: Field Study

Abstract

The current research aimed at probing the role of the school administration in reducing the rates of dropping-out among the secondary stage students in Kuwait. Furthermore, the present research questioned whether gender, job and years of experience have statistically significant differences in the attained results. For fulfilling the purpose of the current research, the researchers designed a questionnaire to be completed by the study participant, who were (18) secondary school managers and (36) assistant mangers, who were randomly assigned to be the participants of the current study. The attained results revealed that the school administration plays significant role in reducing the dropping-out levels as viewed by the school managers and the assistant managers in relation to the secondary stage students in Kuwait. Moreover, it was delineated that there were no statistically significant differences concerning the responses of the participants that may be attributed to the research variables.
