Avaibility of Organizational Commitment Dimensions and its Impact on Developing Work Performance in Organizations: Applied Study on Governmental Administrations, Al Baha Province

The study aimed at recognizing  the work performance in the university. It also recognized the relationship between the organizational commitment of staff upon work performance development. The study used the descriptive and mapping approach that fit the nature of the sample. The sample population represented all Al Baha University staff who reached (865) members. The sample of study included (98) members represented most of university colleges and it has been selected randomly to reach (98) of the community members. The questionnaire was used as a tool of study. The study reached many conclusions:  the most important one showed It also indicated the work performance of Al Baha University staff at large level (3.70) and the standard deviation (0.88) and there were no statistic differences at (α≤0.05) in the views of the sample about Al Baha University work performance due to gender variable, major, college location, number of years experience at Al Baha University, nationality, age, administrative work, while there were statistic differences at (α≤0.05) in the views of the sample about Al Baha University staff, work performance due to the academic degree for the benefit of assistant professors, The study also indicated that there was statistic relationship at (α≤0.05) between organizational performance of Al Baha University staff and work performance in general. The factor of correlation reached (0.56) and it was very strong correlation between the two variables and the study concluded that the organizational commitment affect clearly the work performance in Al Baha University.
