The reality of the administrative empowerment of secondary school leaders in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its relationship with the motivation for achievement: a field study

Abstract
 This study aimed at identifying the administrative empowerment level and its relation to motivation achievement among Saudi male and female leaders in secondary schools during the first semester (1437/1438 H), and the role of modern validities in promoting it. The study sample consists of (86) supervisors and leaders of high schools. The researcher adopted a descriptive approach and questionnaire in order to collect data. The study results showed that study respondents' responses on the axis "the administrative empowerment level and its relation to achievement motivation among Saudi male and female leaders in secondary schools " in view of leadership skills in the first position concerning availability degree among the dimensions of "the administrative empowerment level and its relation to achievement motivation among Saudi male and female leaders in secondary schools " with (very high )degree with mean(4.29), followed by objectives with (high) degree and mean (4.07), then impact and employers motivation with (high )degree and mean (4.03), after that strength and commitment with (high) degree and mean(3.99). The study found a positive relationship between administrative empowerment among female and male leaders in secondary schools and achievement motivation, in the sense that the more administrative empowerment among female and male leaders in secondary schools، the more achievement motivation they will have. Additionally, the study conducted that there are no statistically significant differences at significance (α≤0.01 (in responses of respondents due to independent variables (scientific degree، nature of work in the field of education, sex, years of experience and training courses in Educational Leadership). Also the study showed that new validities of schools' leaders have contributed in strengthening their administrative empowerment and in turn increasing their achievement motivation in work environment
