Abstract
         The study aimed to identify obstacles to the design and employment of science teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the tools of the second generation of the web in the teaching of their material and learning,The researcher used the descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of (120) teachers of science in primary, preparatory and secondary levels,he research tool included a questionnaire to identify the obstacles to designing and employing the second-generation tools of the web for science teachers and learning.
       The study found that there are educational and technical obstacles in designing the tools of the second generation of the Internet, and the existence of psychological, physical, technical and educational obstacles in the recruitment of tools for the second generation of the Internet in science education and learning.
