Evaluation of teaching aids for Islamic studies subject at the elementary schools in state of Kuwait

Abstract

This study aimed at recognizing the employment of teaching aids by teachers, sinner- teachers and supervisors of Islamic studies at the elementary schools in the state of Kuwait. The study survey was concerned with the school year 2016/2017 only. The study applied the analytical descriptive method which relies on data collection and statistical possessing in an attempt to answer the study questions.
The results of this study indicated teaching aids scarcity, new materials in particular, as well as the poor use of such aids by the teachers.  The study also revealed that the significance of the use of teaching aids was not well realized at all class levels in elementary schools.  Therefore, the top recommendation of this study was to provide schools with teaching aids appropriate to Islamic studies research.
