Study Objectives: Checking the effectiveness of a counseling program for improving psychological resilience in a sample of mothers to alleviate their children with Down syndrome' anger. The study is administered on a (20) mothers of Down syndrome children, aged (2545) and divided into two groups the experimental group (n=10) and the control group (n=10) and a sample of (20) Down syndrome children aged (4-6). Study Instruments: Scale of Psychological Resilience for Mothers of Down syndrome children (by researcher)- Stanford Binet Scale —Fifth Edition (by: Mahmoud Abou El-Neil & Mohamed Taha & Abdel Mawgoud Abd El-Samee, 2011) — Scale of Fineland (prepared by Safwat Farag & Nahid Ramzy, 2011) — Scale of the Socio-Economic and Cultural Level (by Mohamed El-Behairy, 2002) Raven Scale of Subsequent Arrays(by Ravin) The Counseling Program for Improving Psychological Resilience for Mothers of Down Syndrome Children(by researcher). Results indicate the efficacy of the
counseling program in improving psychological resilience of mothers of Down syndrome children and alleviate their children anger.
