Educational supervision impediments to the learning difficulties programs attached to primary schools and ways to develop them in the Riyadh region in light of some variables

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the constraints of educational supervision of learning difficulties programs at primary schools in Riyadh and ways to improve it. The researcher used a descriptive analytical method using a questionnaire as a study tool. The study population was learning difficulties teachers in Riyadh with a total of (451), as for the study sample, it was randomly chosen with the number of (50) teachers only. The study results are: learning difficulties teacher in Riyadh see that educational supervision constraints in learning difficulties programs are achieved to some extent with an average of (2.24 out of 3) and the degree of achievement is (62%) and the most prominent constraints are (educational supervisors lack creativity and supervise routinely. Learning difficulties teachers in Riyadh see that educational supervision improvement in the field of leaning difficulties is sort of achieved with an average of (1.95 out of 3) with a degree of (47%) andmost prominent sentence is (Education has emphasized that the role of educational supervisors is essential in the learning and educational process at any educational system. Also, there were a statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 among the averages of the responses of learning difficulties teachers on the improvement of educational supervision according to the differences in the years of experience, the differences were in favor of teachers who have more experience (Less than 5 years), and the differences according to scientific degrees were in favor for teachers with bachelor degree in Education. The results showed no statistically significant differences at the level of 0.05 among the averages of responses of learning difficulties teachers on the constraints of the educational supervision and its development with the differences in training workshops. Based on these results, the study recommended the following: (The need of providing financial, material and human resources necessary for educational workshops, raising awareness among learning difficulties teachers on the importance of educational supervision, setting both financial and moral incentives for the implementation and participation in the educational workshops
