The Efficiency of Using Training Program Based on Reflective Thinking for Enhancing sciences' teaching skills of preserves female science teachers

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the efficiency of using training program Based on reflective thinking for enhancing sciences' teaching skills. To achieve this purpose the researcher prepared training program Based on Reflective thinking, and Observation Card to measure the Performance of science teaching skills, The research used the quasi experimental method and One Group Pre-Test, Post-Test Design. The Sample of this research consisted of seventeen preserves female science teacher. Observation Card was pre-applied on the Sample of research then the sample was trained by training program Based on reflective thinking after that Observation Card was post-applied on the Sample. The findings showed that There were statistical significance's differences at the level 0. 01 between the two means of pre-service female teachers in the pre- and post- application of Observation Card in favor of the post-application. The η-Square is used to reveal the efficacy of using the Training program. The research results showed that there are efficacies of using training program for sciences teaching skills, including planning, implementing, and evaluating of science lessons
