The role of Social Networking in emphasizing some Values of Dialogue among female students of King Saud University

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of the use of the female students of King Saud University for social networking، to identify what are their dialogue’s values they have، and to identify some of their methods to manage the dialogue situation. The researcher applied the descriptive survey approach، as well as using the questionnaire’s tool and the sample was drawn in a random stratified sample. Meanwhile، the study has found a number of results: 84.5% of the students use social networking، and the most preferred network for dialogue is Twitter. Local knowledge and commenting on it was the first goal behind the creation of their accounts on the networks among thirteen goals. The value of justice ranked first as the most valuable values of female students' dialogue within social networking، and the arithmetical mean of the values of the dialogue indicated a high degree of availability among the students of King Saud University. On the other side، the ranking of the characters that are highly represented in the ethics of dialogue within the social networking from the point of view of students as follows: Clerics followed by academics and then educators and then bloggers and then media.
