Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a training program in providing intellectual education teachers with some techniques for modifying the behavior of children with mental development disorder. The study sample included (16) teachers in one of the schools of intellectual education in Al-Ahsa Governorate, and they were divided into two groups, one experimental and the other control. The researchers used the experimental method, the scale of behavior modification techniques, and the training program (preparation / researchers) were used. Statistical methods were used for the Spearman-Brown equation, the Cronbach Alpha Factor, Gutman, the Mann-Whitney test, and the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study led to the presence of a statistically significant difference between the mean levels of the degrees of the experimental and control groups on the scale of techniques for behavior modification in the post measurement for the benefit of the experimental group, and the presence of a statistically significant difference between the mean levels of the degrees of the experimental group on the scale of techniques for behavior modification in the pre and post measurements in favor of the measurement Dimensional, and the absence of a statistically significant difference between the mean levels of the control group scores on the scale of techniques for behavior modification in the pre and post measurements
