The degree of availability of evaluation calendars for female kindergarten teachers in mathematics in the State of Kuwait in light of some demographic variables

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the assessment competencies degree for kindergarten teachers for mathematics, in the State of Kuwait. The study focused on identifying the differences between the participants according to two variables: school districts and years of experience. The information for this study was collected by a questionnaire that was designed by the researchers and was conducted on a sample of 600 kindergarten teachers from the six school districts in the State of Kuwait. The result of the study indicated that: - The level of planning and implementing assessment competencies degree for mathematics among the kindergarten teachers in the State of Kuwait was moderate. - The level of analyzing assessment result and feedback competencies for mathematics among the kindergarten teachers in the State of Kuwait was low. - There are no statistically significant differences in the degree of assessment competencies for mathematics among the kindergarten teachers in the State of Kuwait according to school districts. - There are statistically significant differences in the degree of assessment competencies for mathematics among the kindergarten teachers in the State of Kuwait according to years of experience for the benefit of experience more than 10 years.
