Abstract

This study aimed to identify the degree of using the school leaders of Al-Namas governorate added-value approach to evaluate teacher performance from their point of view. The descriptive approach was used The study population consisted of( 1253) teachers, and the sample of the study was (310) teachers. a questionnaire consisted (39) items distributed for four domains: (financial resources management , school activities, teaching strategies& monitoring and evaluation) was used to collect data from the study sample, The results showed that The degree of using added -value approach to evaluate teacher performance medium with mean of (2.63) also the results indicated that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤0.05) in the responses of the sample study due to the variable of level of education in favor of the intermediate level ,and the variable of experience in favor of the 10 years and above, also the variable of number of students 100 student and above, the study recommends a number of recommendations, including: the preparation of training materials for school leaders, including the concepts of value added to enable them, the diversification of activities in the school and the provision of recreational activities in the school more students to attend school and enjoy more school time
