Abstract

This study aimed at studying the Status of the in-service training courses at Deanship of Preparatory Year at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, From the point of view of faculty members, And their suggestions for the development of training, The study sample consisted of (103) faculty members, The study designed a questionnaire to address the research questions. To achieve the study purposes, the researchers prepared a questionnaire consisted in its final draft of (27) items, the study findings showed that the Estimates of faculty members Came high for the three areas: The content of training courses, the trainers, and the training environment. The results also showed no statistically significant differences at the level (α ≤ 0.05) due to gender, qualification and specialization. Based on the results, we offered relevant recommendations: Linking theory to practice in training. Choose the right time for training courses Based on their social, personal and professional circumstances.
