A proposed vision for the application of human resources management in education departments in Saudi Arabia (model of education in Al-Kharj as a model)

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of dealing with human resources and obstacles to the application of human resources management in the education departments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of the heads of departments and educational supervisors in the Department of Education in Al-Kharj and detection of differences between the responses of the sample of the study according to the job and qualification and years of experience. The study was followed the descriptive method. The study tool consisted of a questionnaire to identify the reality of dealing with human resources and obstacles to the application of human resources management in education departments. The sample of the study consisted of (102) educational counselors and head of department for the first semester of the academic year 1438 - 1439 AH. Mean, standard deviations, Man Whitney testing for two independent groups, and t- test for two independent groups were used. The study found that the degree of availability of indicators of dimensions of the reality of dealing with human resources: job descriptions and analysis, human resources planning, polarization, training and development of human resource and , Evaluation of the workers performance were average While low at the Salaries and increases dimension. And the degree of approval of the sample of the obstacles to the application of human resources management ranged between high and medium to the items and was high for the whole dimension. There are no differences in the responses of sample of the study on the reality of dealing with human resources (dimensions and totaldegree) according to experience, qualification and job and there are no differences in the responses of the study sample on the obstacles of the application of human resources management according to experience, qualification and job. In light of the results of the study, the proposal for the application of human resources management in education departments in Saudi Arabia was developed.
