Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the academic problems that face the teaching staff of Bisha University and means of facing them. and in order to achieve the objective of the study. , the descriptive approach was used in its survey form and a questionnaire was applied to a random sample selected from the study community the results of the study were (142) faculty member (36%) of the total society. The results of the study resulted in a number of findings, the most important of which is that: academic problems facing faculty members of Bisha University in all fields related to problems (professional development of faculty members, Student affairs, scientific research, and courses) were high. There were statistically significant differences in the administrative problems and academic problems faced by faculty members of Bisha University due to the variable (academic specialization and nationality). due to different academic rank in favor of academic rank professor. There were statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between faculty members among their rank as a professor and their rank as assistant professor in the fields of (problems related to scientific research, problems related to the professional development of faculty members) for the academic rank ofprofessor. There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) in the views of the members of the study sample on the degree of availability of academic problems faced by faculty members of Bisha University due to the difference in the site variable.
