The psychological profile of the academically excelling university students, a study in the light of the five major dimensions of personality (clinical study)

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to prepare the psycho profile for high achievers academically from university students through of the big five dimensions of personality, through the knowledge Openness on Experience, Consciousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and the Neuroticism, aspects of the admissibility of the outstanding aspects of academicians from the university students., It also aimed to verify the degree to which the great dimensions of personality affect academically outstanding students. The study sample consisted of (35) of the first students at the superbly located in the fourth stage of the university faculties of both (medicine– Pharmacy) and an excellent estimate in the third group in the faculties of (Engineering, Educational and Arts) from the Egyptian government universities, from The Egyptian governmental universities, The researcher has used the clinical approach in this study, The collection of data, the researcher using records academic balance sheets and statements of the case of the preparation of the researcher and the measurement of the big five dimensions of personality by Costa& McCrae1992 prepared by Professor Habib,2008. The results of the study concluded the following:- The variation of the profile of the academic excellence of the university students in light of the five dimensions of the great personality.- Each of the five major dimensions of personality differed of the academic excellence of university students varied.
