Abstract of The study:
     The study aimed to identify the challenges facing pre-university education in Egypt in light of the strategy of sustainable development. The study used the descriptive approach and found that confronting these challenges requires building a work program that includes mechanisms and practical measures on the following axes: Development of pre-university education systems and regulations to meet the strategic objectives of sustainable development, Improving the organizational structure of educational institutions, enhancing community participation of civil society institutions and the private sector in decision-making, achieving the quality of learning and learning outcomes, in line with the requirements of sustainable development, developing curricula in the light of The requirements of sustainable development and the achievement of global competitiveness, and finally the development of assessment systems commensurate with the global variables and the requirements of sustainable development
