The Development of Social Studies Course in the Light of the Concept of Citizenship For the Developing of Achievement and Social Responsibility among Pupils Sixth-grade Primary School

Current research aims to attempt to detect the effectiveness of the development of Social Studies Course in the light of the concept of Citizenship in the development of achievement       and Social Responsibility among sixth-primary pupils.                                                     
 The researcher chose randomly sample of sixth-grade primary pupils from Khalid Bin Al     Waleed Primary School in Giza of the academic year 2018/2019. The researcher applied the achievement test and testing the positions of Social responsibility tools for tribal experimental group research sample, then teaching developed units in the light of the concept of citizenship  on research sample and then the application of the achievement test and testing                   the positions of Social Responsibility on the experimental group research sample Uday.        
revealed statistically significant differences at the level of significance between   The results average  degrees of research sample pupils in the pre and after application  of the achievement test and testing the positions of Social Responsibility in favor after application.    And in the light of these results have been reached some recommendations , such as : The social studies curricula should include national issues that develop social responsibility of primary school pupils and link them to their homeland and community . and Making training Courses for social studies teachers to train them how to use Service Learning Strategy associated with the concept of Citizenship.
