Adult and Continuing Education System Development in Saudi Arabia In light of Canadian Experience

Abstract
This paper aims to reflect the reality of the adult education in Canada as an ideal and developed model for adult education in the world. The paper also aims to reveal the successful experiences in adult education in Saudi Arabia. A comparative study was used to reflect on both systems in the two countries. The study gives a description of the adult education, in both countries, in light of the influential cultural factors and forces. It also analyses the similarities and differences between the two systems. The study concluded with a proposed future vision for improving adult education in Saudi Arabia benefiting from the Canadian experience.
