The educational supervision role for improving their professional performance on the sciences teachers in the secondary school.

Abstract

This study aims to disclose the role of educational supervisors for improving the professional performance of science teachers in the secondary school at Jeddah city in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of teachers and to know the extent of the existence of differences of statistical significance for the variable (scientific qualification and years of experience) in average of teachers' responses to the educational supervisor roles for improving their performance.
The researcher used analytical descriptive approach and a questionnaire as a tool consisted of (53) items to the educational supervisors roles for improving their performance. The questionnaire distributed on (5) majors. It distributed electronically for random sample reached (69) teachers  out of secondary school sciences teachers in governmental schools that affiliated to the education administration   in Jeddah.
The collected data was analyzed  by SPSS program and showed the following results :

There is an average grade (3.67) the educational supervisors roles of secondary school sciences teachers in Jeddah. with the highest grade  of evaluation and at the least grade planning.
There were no statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) among the average responses of the sample population for improving their performance due to the variable (academic qualification type and experience years).
The study concluded for several recommendation  as the following :
To use a training program as a second tool for the study and conducting on the sciences teachers as per academic major.
