Abstract

Abstract:This study aimed to identify the difficulties of learning to read from the point of view of teachers of elementary grades in the private schools in hail and to provide remedies for them from their point of view and applied the study to a random class sample of (206) males and females, and to achieve the objectives of the study was developed a questionnaire consisting of (36) paragraphs, In addition to an open question for the sample of the study, the analytical descriptive approach was used in the study, and the results of the study showed that the average responses of teachers to the scale paragraphs as a whole were average according to the statistical standards followed, and the average arithmetic reached (3.53), and the results showed that the most significant difficulties Learning to read consisted in finding difficulty in pronouncing difficult words, repeating the error of reading more than once, and seemed a fretful frown while reading and losing control of his nerves. The open question also found that the paragraph "focus on the subject of reading by assigning teaching students in the elementary grades to specialized teachers" and by (44.0%), and the study found that there are no statistically significant differences at the full significance level (α = 0.05), attributed to the variables of sex, specialization and experience, how many A study came out with a series of suggestions and recommendations.
