The researcher used analytical descriptive approach. The study society consisted of secondary students in Abha. The analytical descriptive approach has been used to answer the questions, a questionnaire was applied to collect  Data and information from the sample,The total number of sample was 1028 (797) females and (231) males.
- the study revealed many results, the most important are:
There are statistically significant differences between male and female students in their point of views on the degree of use of social networks sites; The reasons for this are: The social networks offer me all what I need in all fields (for females), which explains that these sites allow females to depend on themselves to identify their needs, choose and buy them. (for males)The social networks keep me a lot of effort and time.
These results explains that; networks allow males to spend less time to communicate with their community and focus on their business. I think that using networks is a right for all members of society (for males),  because the communication sites give males greater freedom to share knowledge and opinions.  Therefore,   I agree that the use of social network is a right  for all members of society.
Also There are statistically significant differences between male and female students in their views on the impact of social networking sites on the development of social awareness. This refers to: The social networks facilitated volunteer work with a group of colleagues (for females). This result shows The opportunity for females to participate more freely without restrictions.
The study recommends that:
- Directing secondary students to use the social networks in education.
-  Conducting a continuous assessment to evaluate the positive use of secondary school students of social networks.
