Student's the perceptions in the Faculty of Education - University of Beni Suef towards voluntary work and its contribution in enhance social cohesion

Abstract
The study aimed at knowing the students' perceptions about voluntary work, and then to reach a set of requirements to activate the voluntary work among students in order to enhance social cohesion. The study used the descriptive method by employing a questionnaire administered to a sample of 574 college students. The study bore out the following results:
-     Students are highly aware of the goals of volunteering.
-     Students participate in a medium degree in the fields of voluntary work.
-     There are barriers to participation in volunteer work, such as students' access to the Internet, crowded classrooms.
-     There were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the participants in this study on the gender variable in the questionnaire as a whole and its three sections.
-     There were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the participants on the variable of specialization in the questionnaire as a whole and in the sections of Objectives and Obstacles except the field of the specialty domains.
-     There were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the participants on the variable of the study group in the questionnaire as a whole and the survey section of Goals and Study Fields except the section of Obstacles
