The present research used the historical method to answer a question in the past by a great scientific effort from the researcher, by inferring the relationships between events and linking them, based on what he learned from the correct scientific evidence to prove the validity of his conclusions. The research attempted to answer the following main question: What are features of development of Islamic educational thought in the second migratory (Hijri) century, this question was divided into the following sub-questions:
1. What are the most prominent sources of Islamic educational thought in the second migratory (Hijri) century?
2. Features of the political, scientific, social and economic environment in the second migratory (Hijri) century?
3. The most prominent doctrinal and intellectual schools in the second migratory (Hijri) century?
4. Factors contributing to the development of educational thought during the second migratory (Hijri) century
5. What are the features of educational thought among the most prominent flags of the second migratory (Hijri) century?
The aim of the research was to reveal the main question, which is: What are the features of the development of Islamic educational thought in the second century AH?
