Abstract

Objectives of the study: This study aimed to recognize the degree of using the Quran laboratories and audio devices skills by Islamic education teachers in planning, implementation, and evaluation of recitation lessons among primary school students in Jeddah, and to learn about the differences between the mean of using the Quran laboratories and audio devices by Islamic education teachers depending on the variables of the study which include years of experience, qualification, and specialization.
Procedures: The study followed a descriptive approach, and the researcher designed a study tool, which is a note card, included (36) skills as follow: (10) skills in planning for recitation lessons, (20) implantation skills, (6) evaluation skills. These skills were verified for validity and reliability. Then, the data were collected by randomly visiting thirty of Islamic education teachers in Jeddah for the academic year 1436-1437h.The data were analyzed statistically by using a range of methods and statistical tests.
The most important results of the study:
• The study determined (36) skills of using the Quran laboratories and audio devices that should be applied by teachers of Islamic education at teaching Quran recitation to primary school students.
• The degree of using the Quran laboratories and audio devices skills by Islamic education teachers in the planning of recitation lessons to primary school students was high; the arithmetic mean was (3.53 of 4.00).
• The degree of using the Quran laboratories and audio devices skills by Islamic education teachers in the implementation of recitation lessons to primary school students came medium, reaching the arithmetic mean of (2.87 of 4.00).
• The degree of using the Quran laboratories and audio devices skills by Islamic education teachers in the evaluation of recitation lessons to primary school students were weak, with an arithmetic mean of (2.22 of 4.00).
• No significant differences were found in the means of the degree of using the Quran laboratories and audio devices skills by the Islamic education teachers is attributed to the years of experience, academic qualification, and specialization.
