Content Analysis of the Computer and Information Technology Course (1) for the First Year Secondary School in light of the Computer Skills Required for the Labor Market

Abstract

     This study aimed to cognitive the degree of the availability of skills of computer which are required for the labor market needed in the content of the computer and information technology text book (courses system) for the high school –first grade period- in Saudi Arabia. For achieving the objectives of the study the researcher used descriptive and analytical approach represented in analyzing content. Where the computer and information technology text book of high school first grade content of both parts -student & exercise book- been analyzed, The researcher has prepared for this purpose with content analysis card.
     The study showed several results:
1-built in skills of computer which are required for the labor market  These skills are about (47) skills, distributed to (9) main skills.
2- It shows that the average percentage of the availability of the nine skills of computer in computer and information technology of first grade  high school book content is (37.7%),and provide a minor degree.
