A Training Program to Improve Teaching Performance of Islamic education Teachers in Light of Some Active Learning Strategies and Measuring Its Effect on Their Students’ Achievement

Abstract

The research aims at the effectiveness of a proposed training program to improve the teaching performance for the Islamic education teachers at Al-Azhar. In addition, training the teachers on using and implying learning strategies in order to develop their teaching performance and achievement level of their students as well.
The research group was a group of religious and Islamic education teachers was 30.  First، the pre observation card was applied to the teachers، then the training program، afterwards the post observation card.
The results indicated that the training program has a positive effect on developing the teaching performance skills for the teachers.
