Patterns of Competitive Activities in Learning Environment (E/Blended) and their Impact on the Skills of Development of Virtual Classrooms Among Professional Diploma Students
The current research aims to determine the effect of Competitive Activities in two learning environment styles (electronic/blended) and their impact on the Skills of development of virtual classrooms among professional diploma in educational technology students. The researchers utilized the developmental research methodology, which integrates three consecutive approaches: descriptive, systemic development, and experimental research, based on the model proposed by Mohammed Atiya Khamees (2015). The sample consisted of (14) professional diploma students educational technology at Damanhur University, Egypt. They were divided into two groups, with each group comprising (7) students. The research tools included a knowledge achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect, and observation card to assess performance aspect associated with Skills of development of virtual classrooms. The results indicated the effectiveness of the competitive activities in learning environment (e/blended) in developing the cognitive aspect of knowledge test and the practical aspect of performance test (observation card).Furthermore, statistically significant differences were found between the means of the experimental research groups in the cognitive aspect, observation card related to, and the These differences were attributed to the interaction between the two learning environment styles in the e-learning environment, favoring the use of a blended learning environment.
