The Role of Strategic Vigilance in Enhancing Organizational Behavior of Employees the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training

Abstract

With the increase in work pressures, institutions are increasingly interested in organizational behaviors as desirable behaviors that help achieve the best investment of human resources in the organization, due to their positive effects. That improve the overall performance of the organization, and achieve cohesion and integration between employees and the organization beyond what is imposed by employment contracts and job description cards. The study aimed to identify the reality of strategic vigilance practices and their role in enhancing organizational behavior among employees in the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait. The study community consisted of all employees in the Authority in different sectors. The questionnaire was distributed and the study sample consisted of employees, whose number reached (305). The research relied on the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire was prepared (prepared by the researcher) to collect data from the study sample. The study concluded that strategic vigilance was largely available, and enhancing organizational behavior was moderately available, and there were no statistically significant differences in the reality of strategic vigilance practices and their role in enhancing organizational behavior among employees in the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Kuwait according to the variable of gender and years of experience. It recommended the necessity of achieving efficiency in enhancing organizational behavior from a comprehensive perspective of the dimensions and components of vigilance, and using information technology in a way that contributes to enhancing organizational behavior.
