Degree of Educational Supervisors in Al-Quwaiyia Governorate Practicing the Style of 360-Degree Leader

Abstract

This study aimed atidentifying the degree to which educational supervisors in Al-Quwaiyia governorate practiced the Style of 360-Degree Leader and to conclude the difficulties facing the application of educational supervisors in Al-Quwaiyia governorate of the Style of 360-Degree Leader, while revealing whether there are statistically significant differences in the application of the Style of 360-Degree Leader by educational supervisors in Al-Quwaiyia governorate due to the variable of (gender, educational qualification, years of service)and used the descriptive survey approach and the questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The study community consists of (90) educational supervisors in Al-Quwaiyia governorate. The conclusions revealed that educational supervisors in Al-Quwaiyia governorate practice the Style of 360-Degree Leader to a high degree from their point of view. The dimension of leadership with colleagues came in a high degree in the first rank, while the dimension of leadership with those who are highly inferior came in the second rank, and then the dimension of leadership with self came in the third rank, and the dimension of leadership with those who are higher came in the fourth rank with a high degree. The conclusions indicated that the educational supervisors in Al-Quwaiyia governorate agree to a medium degree on the difficulties they face in applying the Style of 360-Degree Leader. The conclusions also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the application of the Style of 360-Degree Leader by educational supervisors in Al-Quwaiyia governorate according to the academic qualification and the years of service in supervision, while revealing that there are gender differences in the difficulties in favor of the female educational supervisors.
