The reality of technological sufficiencies among leaders of public education schools in Al-Kharj Governorate for the academic year 1438

Abstract

Abstract
This study aimed to identify the degree of importance availability of technological competencies for the female leaders of general education schools in Al-Kharj governorate. It also aimed to identify the most important technological competencies needed for the female leaders of general education schools. To investigate the study objectives, the researcher used the analytical descriptive method. The study population is composed of all leaders of public education schools in Al-Kharj governorate. A questionnaire was prepared to measure the reality of technological competencies for the female leaders of general education schools in Al-Kharj governorate. The questionnaire included 33 paragraphs distributed in the following fields: (technical and administrative affairs, teachers affairs, curricula and female students). Statistical processing was done using the statistical SPSS program .
The findings showed that the technological competencies of the leaders of general education schools in each field of the scale and on the scale as a whole was medium. The field of technical and administrative affairs ranked first, followed by the field of curricula, female students and the field of teacher affairs.
     In the light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the need to create a website for each school on the web, and follow up and support from the educational media, and formulated in official format under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, and dissemination of the culture of open communication with the educational world and the culture of dialogue so that the leader of the school can participate in educational issues, and local, national and international seminars, as well as setting clear policies for the use of technology in the teaching and learning processes, supervising them and providing training programs that are concerned with technology in education, including how to design websites, and design of games targeted educational programmes .
