Abstract

The main objective of the present research is an Enrichment Micro teaching course to develop student teachers' Teaching performance skills, psychological hardiness, attitudes towards teaching profession at faculty of girls The researchers designed the following tools to achieve the main objectives of the research:1. The experimental materials represented in: the enriched micro teaching course. 2. The measuring tools which included: an observation sheet to measure students’ teaching performance skills, psychological hardness scale, psychological hardness test, attitudes measuring scale towards teaching, as well as personality treats scale. The sample of this research consisted of 62 participants of student teachers who are studying the micro teaching course at the educational departments at faculty of girls, Ain Shams University. The researchers divided participants into two groups; experimental and control groups, then they applied the measuring tools on both groups, while only the experimental group has been exposed to the enriched micro teaching course; the control group has been exposed to the present micro teaching course The results of this reseacch has showed that there is statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and the control groups in the measuring tools in favour of the experimental group, which shows the significant effect of the enriched micro teaching course to develop teaching performance skills, psychological hardness, and attitudes towards teaching profession. In the light of the findings of this study, the researchers recommend establishing independent educational programs to train student-teachers on various teaching skills and giving attention to personality treats to be more controlling at the educational situations they are exposed.
