Psychological Immunity and its Relation to Moral Intelligence and Academic Performance of University Student.

Abstract

Objective of the research: The aims revealing the relationship between Psychological Immunity and both of Moral Intelligence and Academic performance of University students and finding out the predictive ability of Psychological Immunity and its dimensions in regards to Moral Intelligence of University students, revealing the variance on the psychological personal dynamics among students who have high psychological immunity and students who have low psychological immunity.
The Research Sample: The study sample is chosen from the students in first grade on Faculty of Physical Education for Men in Zagazig University, the pilot group consists of (59) students, the descriptive study group consists of (195 students) and the clinical study group consists of (4 students). Tools of the Research: To prove hypothesis of this research, the researcher used a number of tools which are the psychological immunity scale, the Moral Intelligence Scale personal interviewing form and TAT. The findings of the Research show the following: There are positive correlation relationship statistically significant between psychological immunity and moral intelligence of University students. There are positive correlation relationship statistically significant between self-control as one dimensions of psychological immunity. Psychological immunity could predict moral intelligence of students at the University. Psychological personal dynamics vary among those who scored extreme marks on the psychological immunity scale as revealed by TAT.
