The Impact of Using The Info Graphics Teaching Strategies on The Achievement and Studying Habits for The Female Student of Teaching Mathematics at Umm Al Qura University

Abstract

The study aims to identify the impact of teaching using info graphics strategy on the academic achievement and study habits in the methods of teaching mathematics at Umm Al-Qura University. The problem of the study was determined in the following main question: What is the impact of teaching using Info graphics teaching strategy in the achievement of study habits of mathematics teaching methods at Umm al-Qura University? In order to reach a solution to the problem of the study, the researcher formulated three sub-questions and three hypotheses to examine the differences between the study groups in the achievement of study and the study habits, and the hypothesis of the relationship between the variables; the experimental and semi-experimental design was used with pre and post tests; (60) students, distributed into two groups, one of which is experimental (30) students; and 30 female students, the course was designed according to the strategy based on the info graphic; (0.79); a measure for the studying habits also was applied. The stability factor for the measure was 0.82. The tools were applied previously. The experiment was then applied to the experimental group. The researcher used the (T) test for independent samples as a statistical method to analyze the study data, and the study founded some results which are: The influence of the study using the strategy of the morphology for developing mathematicians in mathematics for the experimental group, The existence of an impact of teaching using an Info graphics teaching strategies for developing the studying habits of female students at mathematics in the experimental group, the existence of a relationship with a positive mean (0.648) It is a high positive relationship between the academic achievement and the study habits among the students of educational preparation. Among the most significant recommendations of the study: to include the higher education curriculum in general and the curriculum of the educational preparation for the recent strategies in teaching, especially the info graphic, the application of info graphic in higher education curriculum to clarify, explain and simplify the scientific content to keep the information for a long time, so, they could easily understand the content, to train the female learners on the mechanisms of educational info graphic according to specialized scientific standards.
